SMALL INTENSIVE GROUP PROGRAMS

Our small intensive group program is our best bargain for those with conversational English who wish to improve their pronunciation of American English.

These classes meet on weekends for a total of 3 days, with Sharon Heffley as your instructor.  Programs include the following:

Evaluation- completed through Skype or telephone that consists of pronouncing words and using them in sentences, as well as a conversation sample.

Goals-  Each student receives a handout with specific program goals based on his/her evaluation

20 hours of small group class time with instructor-  Class meets from 9 - 5 over 3 weekend days- two day one month, and a third day the next month.  this allows time for needed practice to become proficient with the lessons learned in class.  These classes are limited to 6 students to allow for individual attention to each students needs.  Instructor takes turn working with each student individually to make sure you can achieve correct sound production and to answer your questions.

PRISM CD and Workbook-  Each student receives a workbook for use in class, and a CD for the audio for each lesson to be used for you home assignments

Home Assignment Worksheet-  Each student receives a handout with the assignments we practiced in class for continued practice at home.  These will be reviewed to monitor your practice during your private lesson time with the instructor between  the first and second weekend classes. 

Private Tutoring Time-  Each student receives a minimum of 2 hours of private distance tutoring via telephone or Skype  thesse classes review  lesson practiced in class and may introduce new lessons that may be student specific

Free Internet Resources-  Students will be provided links to websites that offer additional information that will assist learning.  Access to these websites is free.
